As Chairperson for the Black History Committee of Riverside, I would like to welcome you.
This is a very special year for the organization as it marks Twenty-Nine Years in serving the community. A service that has involved the promotion of cultural diversity, education, celebration of family and faith, and building character and pride for our young people.
Please join us as we embark on this important milestone. On February 9th, 2008. The Riverside Black History Month Parade & Expo will be held in beautiful downtown Riverside.
The Parade begins at 10:00am from Terracina & Magnolia (RCC). Proceeds down Market St. and ends at 13th & Main in front of the Old Court House. The Expo also starts at 10:00am on the Main St. Mall next to City Hall.
Come celebrate with the Black History Committee of Riverside and its sponsors as we celebrate "It Takes a Village" Leaders: Past, Present & Future. See you there,
